Introduction

One of the tasks of the "Macao Tertiary Education Database" is to carry out surveys on specific topics, and the Project Group has already launched students' survey successively (including paper and online questionnaires) to find out more information about the study and living conditions of students of higher education institutions of Macao.

Projects conducted in 2009:

  • Online Year 3 Students Survey for Public Higher Education Institutions of Macao 2008/2009
  • Graduating Students Survey for Public Higher Education Institutions of Macao 2008/2009

Projects to be launched in 2010:

  • Online Freshmen Survey for the Higher Education Institutions of Macao 2009/2010 (Completed)
  • Online Graduating Students Survey for the Higher Education Institutions of Macao 2009/2010

Survey Method

Survey are mainly carried out by the mean of electronic questionnaires with the following details:

  1. Collect relevant students' basic information from the Higher Education Institutions of Macao by following the annual working plan (For personal data processing policy, please refer to related rules and regulations).
  2. According to the contact information provided in the Basic Information section, students will be advised to log on and fill out the questionnaire online within specific period via email.
  3. The Project Group will telephone or send paper questionnaires to the participants if necessary.
